Karlene, following in the footsteps of her mom, Mary Jane, celebrated her 40th anniversary in the business several years ago. She's delighted that two of her granddaughters have joined the profession and will extend their service to the community to the third generation. Her daughter will graduate from beauty school in December 2011 and will join her mother, daughter and niece in keeping the tradition in the family.
They cover a wide range of services for women, men, teens and kids, and offer advice on a number of brand name hair care products for sale at the salon.

Karlene's Mom, Mary Jane Fisher turned 89 in March. Bristol resident since age 9, and beautician for nearly 50 years, Mary Jane joined her daughter and great-grandaughter Whitney at the Bristol O'Hair Port to celebrate with apple cake. She still works out at Curves and enjoys her life to the fullest. She's looking forward to seeing her grandaughter Janelle join the staff of the shop, to make four generations of beauty magicians from one family serving the Bristol community.
Karlene introduces Linda to her youngest granddaughter Morgan Hackman who has joined her as the third generation of the family serving the Bristol community. Karlene styles Linda's mother Gerry's hair, and the two pose for an "after" photo.
