Yes, Dane is all ready and set to row -
Son of Matt and Mandy, Dane is the third generation of paddlers to carry on the great family tradition

He knows his way around a kayak already, with the help of his mom, Mandy. He's looking forward to the Canoe Nationals to be held on August 5-10, 2008.

Sprints will held at Ideal Beach in Elkhart on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 5 & 6, while the events centering around Bristol will begin on Wednesday, August 7. Watch local media for more information as it gets closer to August.

The latest Bristol Bridge to Bridge Kayak and Canoe Races were held at Hermance Park in Sept. 2007.

Matt Streib, son of Terry and Jan bought the business several years ago, returning to the area from Montana, where he owned a canoe business. With a 30 year history, beginning at the age of 8, Matt specializes in specs and engineering, bringing his competitive spirit and expert knowledge, along with wife Mandy, a fellow enthusiast, and careful and considerate boat fitter who helps clients find the perfect boat for them.

Paddlers from all over the area - and out of state, too, know that they can find just what they are looking for - from boats and paddles to basic equipment and cutting edge technologies. Come and see the big variety of kayaks and canoes on display at Fluid Fun - the most complete in the area.
