40th Anniversary February Specials

Kruse's 40th Year Anniversary celebration continues with 2 specials for the whole month, and an additional different special each Saturday during the month. Ladies from Kruse, Doreen & her daughter and Jen and Ruger Jr. joined Steve Kruse and over 600 others to run in the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Stampede to raise money for the Elkhart Homeless Center. The first annual event was a successful one, and a repeat is planned for next year.

The Annual Pet Photos with Santa event kept everyone busy as a steady stream of eager owners and pets came in. Part of the proceeds were donated to United Cancer Services of Elkhart Co. The Lovable Llamas from the Elkhart Co. Club greeted visitors, and the Second Chance Small Dog Rescue brought a fenceful of puppies, eager to go home with a new family.

Bargains were on the moooo-ve at Kruse's when the green thumb gang donned costumes for the day to delight those came to take advantage of the Annual Bird Feed Sale. Kruse is a deer check-in station. Mike Sauserman, Spencer Stalker and bowsman Cory Powell brought in a 3 point buck, taken in Elkhart County for check in.

An attentive audience of horse owners attended the recent Horse Health Seminar at Kruse's, where Purina representative Nikki Slemmons presented the new feed formulations, and attendees won free feed and other gifts. Equine vet Gary Fouts, DVM of the Equine Veterinary Hospital of Northern Indiana answered general equine health questions. This year, Kruse celebrates their 40th year of serving the community; watch for exciting event in the coming year.
