Memorial: Bristol Community Events Park
and was the fourth Town park acquired by Bristol in July, 2004
on the corner of State Rd. 120 and 15 in down town Bristol.
The Park was named Memorial to remember such revered Bristol citizens
as long-time Bristol High School teacher, Tommy Thompson, and other
persons and events in Bristol history. A memorial plaque honoring
Thompson and an Indiana Historical Society plaque commemorating
a legal decision involving Underground Railroad incident in Bristol
have been installed in the Park.

Memorial Park Bristol, Indiana
Memorial Park is located in downtown Bristol on the
crossroads corner of Vistula Street (St. Rd. 120) and
Division Street (St.Rd.15). It is a small park, only
about 90 x 100 feet, but it is an oasis of green on the busiest
corner of Town.
An electronic sign detailing Community events and activities is
prominently placed in the Park, a gazebo with a swing, benches,
walkways, a water fountain, trash recepticles and memorial . are installed
there, and community presentations are often held in the Park.
Park Board announced the Winter Wonderland Event to be opened with a Christmas Tree lightning at Memorial
Park at 4pm on Saturday, Dec 6. Events will include an ornament contest; a house walk from 5 to 8pm ($10 per
