For over 50 years, a family kind of place where you can join your friends and neighbors for great food and a relaxed atmosphere, where it's downtown, hometown, & full of familiar faces.
Red Bird Hours - Red Bird Hours -9am to 12 midnight Monday through Friday; Saturdays 7am to midnight; Sundays from 11am to 7pm.
Lunch is served Monday thru Saturday from 11am until 1:30pm. Sunday grill open all day. Hot soup and their Hot Beef sandwiches are always available. The Thursday Taco Salad is billed "Very Best in Indiana" and they have the greatest burgers and homemade soup in Town. The famous Saturday breakfast 7am to 11am is a favorite family way to start the weekend and catch up on the news.
Although retired, James Collins, owner since 1947, who died in January of 2008, still loved to see spring returning to "the best river view of the St. Joe in Bristol" just out the back door of the Red Bird.
Fans come every year for the Big Game. Rhonda and Steve are glad to host this gathering of old and new friends as everyone cheers on his own favorite team.

What better place to watch the Homecoming Parade than from a comfortable seat at the front window with a cool drink and your sweetheart? Friends came early to enjoy the afternoon and have a chance to see family and neighbors march by. Some went outside to sit in chairs, or on the curb to get a closer look at the passing Parade.
Good Times for Fans: Win or Lose: Friends and family joined the Collins family to enjoy food, spirits, and friendship to watch the big game. Although the many Colts fans wanted to see a repeat of last year's victory, all agreed the Saints worked hard for the win.
Steve and wife Rhonda run the business, including the Bristol Party Store, next door. Familar daytime faces are Kris Cantu and Cathy Brown, and cook Vicki. Gavin is Night Manager. At the Party Store are Crystal, Shelley and Misty.
Make your Saturday special and join Steve & Rhonda and the Red Bird gang each week for breakfast. Try one of their famous omelets, sausage/cheese sandwiches or one of their other customer- pleasing breakfast specials from 7am to 11am
