Families make the trek to Stutsman's -
Some, like the Brewtons, now bring a second generation, their grandchildren, to select just the right tree.

They can pick out a tree from the wide selection of pre-cut Scotch, White Pine, Douglas and Frasier Fir already on display, or cut your own from the spacious fields. For those who like the idea of preserving the environment, Stutsmans' offer trees that can be decorated and then transplanted into the yard after the holiday.

The season runs through Christmas Eve from 9 a.m. through dark on weekdays and on Saturday and Noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays. There are acres of trees to fit your own decorating style. Plus there are whimsical gifts, ornaments and Christmas decor in the Warming Shed. Phone the Tree Farm at 848-5706 or email stutstree@aol.com for information or directions.

For many local families, visiting Stutsman's Tree Farm on State Road 15, just North of the Toll Road for a their Christmas tree and fresh wreaths and greenery decorations is a long-time tradition.

Jeanne Stutsman and her helpers like Diane Villeda and designer Deb Tahara who makes the aromatic wreaths, run the Christmas Shop where you'll find a variety of tree accessories like colorful decorations, preservatives and stands on display, as well as garlands and wreaths of various sizes. A stand can even be added to your tree before you take it home.

Russ Stutsman handles the labor intensive field work that continues year-round with a crew of workers who dig, move, and wrap the harvested trees as well as plant the new crop. Three trees are planted for each one harvested.
